Ad Inferna is a French band that consists of the members V. Orias A., V.V. Arkames, V.N.A., Asphodel and Mr Hyde. The debut album “L’Empire des Sens” was released back in 2002 and now seven years later Ad Inferna is back with the new album “Trance N Dance”, featuring a total of 12 tracks including remixes from bands such as Reaper, Soman, Combichrist and Beborn Beton and a cover version of the Visage-hit Fade To Grey.

The style of their music is somewhat a combination of different styles like electro, industrial, metal and gothic featuring vocals in both english and french. I haven’t heard this combination before but I must say that it’s a cool mix and it sounds really good. The music is full of cool melodies, powerful basslines, energetic guitar riffs together with both dark male and beautiful female vocals. Combine Clan Of Xymox, Project Pitchfork with Reaper and Unterart and you’ll get Ad Inferna. I think all the remixes is very good and it was a long time since I heard anything from Beborn Beton, I’m glad they still exist. Besides the remixes I can recommend the tracks Redemption, SM For SM, Transcenter L’Extase and Vertige.
