Have you ever heard about so much criticism about an album as with Alien Vampires new album “Harshlizer”? The problem was that many magazines refused to use the cover artwork of the new album and for this also refused to review the album. The reason for this is because of the nudity and for the cross being in front of a woman’s behind.

To concentrate on the music it’s very dark with heavy distorted vocals and fast-paced beats. Just what we are used to from the band. And that is the only problem I can find here. They’ve just continued the work on their last album and instead of trying to evolve the sound, this album is more like a version 2 of the previous “Fuck Off And Die” from 2009.

Releasing a new album just a year after the previous one I feel it has been done a little too fast. However, the production is really good and you can really find a couple of great tracks here that definately stick out among the rest. The music is destined for the darker clubs and would for sure get some ass moving.
