I recently made a review of the first single “Alive” from Alpha Point so read that for a small introduction of the band. “High Like The Angels” is the second single from Alpha Point released on the free netlabel Synthematik. The band is still unsigned but I see a bright future for this band and labels should really take notice. The single contains the two original tracks “High Like The Angels” and a single version of “God’s Anger” together with three remixes of the title track.

Overall, my first notice is that the sound is better then previous single and with “High Like The Angels” once again delivers a very catchy and melodic song. With fused guitars and good vocal appearence from Alexander the track appeals to everyone. The second track “God’s Anger” is a bit heavier with a more distinct bassline and the furious guitar riffs stands out.

Also notable is that there is more work behind the remixes. I enjoyed all three very much and they have all three different styles. From heavy beats and darker approach to a more experimental piece to the more trance-inspired sound. Overall the quality is alot better and really something you should checkout yourself. All fans of great melodic futurepop with catchy refrains won’t be disappointed.
