Axodry is another band who became a part of the Infacted Recordings classics series, but this time it isn’t any EBM. Here we go with some sweet electropop from the 80′s. “Feel It Right” was the bands first single released in 1984 and exists in three different versions. The rest of the 80′s saw releases like “Surrender”, “The Time Is Right”, “Save Me”, “You” and “Loosing You” which became their final release in 1991. However, only one full-lenght album was released during this period (Surrender, 1988). This MCD includes a total of 13 tracks picked from all their releases specially compiled by Ralf Heinrich and Torben Schmidt and is digitally remastered. Once again very limited to 1000 copies.

This would probably be the music I would listen to the most if I had my musical period in the 80′s. With fancy melodies and a great sound Axodry delivered many great tracks during their life span and I really enjoy listen to the tunes. The mix of Synthpop and Electropop and the very classics sound is very nice and I must say I feel very right when listening to. The music is surrounded by a great atmosphere and amazing soundscapes and two of my personal favorites is “Surrender” and “The Time Is Right”. The later releases such as the “Loosing You” hints some Euro Disco to the sound which had a great success during the 90′s.

This MCD is a real gem and should definately exist in every collection of fans of great electronic pop music and who also wants some history. I must say I’m really happy about this and that I didn’t miss this great band.
