2010 sees the return of one of Darkwaves finest: Deine Lakaien, with their new album “Indicator”. Five years after the latest studio album, masterminds Alexander Veljanov and Ernst Horn once again delivers a strong album.
With over 20 years in the scene, the duo definately knows how to create great music. The album opener “One Night” is a true masterpiece with a stunning melody with orchestral/folk soundscapes and the poignant voice of Mr. Veljanov. The first single, and appetizer, “Gone” is of course among the favorites but don’t forget about beautiful “Blue Heart” or even the quite interesting “Europe” featuring French vocals.
Take a seat in your chair, put on your headphones and delve into the territories of this dark intense electronic journey that are present on “Indicator”. The sound is very mature with an intriguish and emotional structure together with a great production. The result is this very complex and is definately their best work to date.
