London-based Die Kur is the Industrial/Metal project consisting of the four members Ays, Miguel, Andrea, Brendan. “The Fall Of The Empire” is the bands latest album after the previous album “From Dark (Renaissance Of Evil) released back in 2006.
Where do I start? The info sheet says that the band is one of the most controversial metal/industrial band out there, but also that the music is powerful and innovative. Well, maybe they are and maybe it is, but I must say I can’t find the music enjoyable. With a poor vocal performance which really make it sound more terrible then it already is. I really had a difficult time listening through the album. For me it more sounds like a youth band angry on the soceity and everything around them. The album includes 15 tracks and a playtime of around 80 minutes but I must admit that I stopped listening on the eight track. I really can’t find anything good with this album.
