F.A.Q. “Whitechapel” (CD F.A.Q.)

FAQ - Whitechapel Artist: F.A.Q.
Title: Whitechapel
Format: Album
Label: F.A.Q. Music
Genre: Electronic, Indie
Release date: May 20, 2009

The year is 1888 in England (also known as autumn of terror) and an unknown killer, only known as Jack The Ripper, is terrorising the Whitechapel districts.

That is the theme of the new album from F.A.Q. entitled “Whitechapel” including a total of 14 songs. This album is way better then “Is Pornography Art?” released back in 2005, but the song ‘The World Is Cold Enough’ is still my favorite F.A.Q-song. “Whitechapel” includes many great tracks such as Absinthe And Laudanum, Grapes, Dear Boss, Merrick and Buck’s Row.

Besides the great songs I get the feeling that a few of the remaining songs is just there to fill the album out, though I think the theme of this album is awesome and the mix of electronics together with guitars are done in a great way. At least on most of the tracks.
