Over at the festival website, arvikafestivalen.se, it was announced in a long statement last week that the Festival are leaving the synth music scene after this year.

They clame that they “can’t find inspiration in the genre” and are more into other electronic music these days.

Last week, they had their “synth-week” and announced several of their most played bands since the start in 1992 and re-booked VNV Nation, Combichrist and S.P.O.C.K together with the comebacks Page, who re-united this year and their new album, “Nu” (Now) hit stores today.

Other bands playing this years Festival who has been announced earlier is Leaether Strip, Nitzer Ebb, IAMX, Alice In Videoland and Universal Poplab.
