With dubstep being used more and more in the scene, Polluted Axis deliver their own version of dubstep with the album “The Dubsuck Chronicles.

I actually did expect more. But all I did was ending up with a disappointment. On the other hand, I have really a hard time taking an album serious were all tracks ending up with strange names (or should I say sentences?). Almost like they just named the track to whatever silly thing came up in their mind. However, the album deliver lots of rhythmic noise elements combined with cyberpunk, as well as gritty distorted sounds with heavy basslines. However, the lack of creativity is there and the need of melodic and danceable rhythms is missing.

But I actually manage to find two very interesting pieces, on this otherwise boring album, that really lighten up my mind and delivered some amazing art, and completely different from the rest. “Rams A Frozen Corndog Right Up Your Pooper” and the ending track “Ends The Album With A Bang” have those things that recently talked about. Two really amazing tracks that give you a great atmosphere, great beats, an outstanding melody. These two tracks seems to be in a more serious point of view compared to the others. Unfortunately, two tracks is far from enough to get a passable rate.
