Another new signing to the german NoiTekk label, Psyborg Corp. releases their debut album on February 26th, 2010. Since the start in 2008, founding member p5y3ORG! have worked on the debut “The Mechanical Renaissance” and the album holds 12 tracks of dark electro mixed with cyber/industrial.
Followed from an intro, “Technocracy” delivers fast-paced electronics and an heavy assault with its beats, but it’s also very catchy with a great melody. This is the output in more or less all tracks and the album offers a great variation. Some are more fast-paced then other, and some derives with a more melodic touch. Even though the vocals is heavy mutated with distortion and can at some point be very hard to hear what they sing, the music weights it up and is very enjoyable and delivers a hard-pounding assault to the music scene.
“The Mechanical Renaissance” is a strong debut and be sure not to miss tracks like “Technocracy” or even my absolute favorites “Interdimensional Hyperdrive” and “Starbeam Antarctica”. Mixing together Tactical Sekt with Grendel and old Psyclon Nine you will get Psyborg Corp.
