SAM stands for Synthetic Adrenaline Music and founded by Joel Meyer and Daniel Meyer. The duo have released two albums earlier, in 2006 and 2008 and this year sees the return of their third album “Brainwasher”.
The opening track is, as the name states, starts with a computer voice saying this album is a warning to people that suffers from psychosis or epilepsie of anykind. Maybe that is true, but one thing is for sure, the album is packed with a lot of energy and is a true clubsmasher right through – from start to finish. With big influences from the Goa/Trance style which is shown on the second track “Halluzinogen” and mostly reminds me of Infected Mushroom, the track shows that the album offers a great amount of different styles. It varies from TBM, EBM, Industrial or even Rhythmic Noise.
The music is 100% instrumental, but you won’t only get the music since it includes lots of samples from different voices and as I mentioned earlier the album is meant for the clubs and will for sure get your feets moving. First, even though the music is enjoyable I wanna say that I don’t think this music should be experienced in your home – atleast you have a party or something and don’t have to think about the volume that is. Secondly, I feel that the second part of the album doesn’t come up to the same standard as the first half. However, the music is destined to move your body frequently to every beat included on this album, so get start clubbing to such tracks like “Mad As Hell”, “Murder Inc.” or “Bull Fucking Shit”.
