Nearly eight months after the highly successful debut album “Hold My Hand”, the UK/Australian project Shiv-R are back with the new EP “Incision” featuring collaboration with labelmates PreEmptive Strike 0.1 along with new tracks with remixes from Detroit Diesel and Be My Enemy aswell as from the two members with one mix each.

“Incision” is a pretty catchy track with great soundscapes and amazing beat structure that will surely get you in right mood with the rhythms. The band continues with their rather unique sound from the debut album and the following track “Zeitgeist” is a collaboration with PreEmptive Strike 0.1 that combine the two bands styles in a really cool way. The track is a future club hit with a striking chorus and amazing atmosphere. The following “Dead Eyes” continues with the fast beats and is yet another great track for the dancefloors while “Hacker” is a three-minute long instrumental track in intro style with smooth soundscapes.

The title track also come in two different remixes as the two members interprete the song in their own way. The Virul3nt remix have a faster and more distinct beat then the original with brighter sounds, less lyrics and suited for those who like a more danceable track. The Kong remix is way more experimental with a darker sound structure and lots of noise. As a bonus you’ll get the video of “The End” included.

The voice of Pete Crane is highly addictive which fits to the music perfectly and here the duo present yet another great release in the electronic music scene with lots of heavy beats just to get your ass moving.
