Strip In Midi Side is the Synth/Rock band from Italy with the four members Giotto, Anton, Maks and Akrid. Signed on New Model Label the band are currently available with their debut album “Your Stripping Experience”.

As a first taster, the band released a single before the album was released in form of the free track “The Dreams” of which you can listen to hear. The sound from the four members can be described as a sweet mix between the 80′s electronic with a lot of Rock influences in the vein of todays Apoptygma Berzerk. The structure of the songs also reminds me of Apop and I think the band does it in a great without copying them.

The production of the album are poor and the second half feels very experimental and weird but overall the album is good and offer a couple of really great tracks. “The Dreams” are my absolute favorite and the band have managed to create an awesome track. In the last track “Art Is Insanity” the rocky sounds and guitars have almost been stripped completely and a much more darker done is present with really cool beats and rhythms.
