After the single release of “No Control” late last year, the band quite made a name for themself. Now, the duo are back with their highly anticipated album “God Loves The Violence” featuring a massive 14 tracks, along with 4 bonus remixes from Nachtmahr, Grendel, Reaper and Detroit Diesel.

Just as with the single, the album contributes with fast-paced music with heavy beats and twisted synthesizers. The vocal appearence of Javi Ssagittar is once again outstanding and the mixture of screamo in a very melodic approach is amazing. It’s very enjoyable to listen to. Powerful tracks like “No Control”, “God Loves The Violence”, the very melodic “Nihilismo Moral” (masterpiece-warning!!) and “La Realidad”. I really enjoy listening to Spanish lyrics, even if I can’t understand much. The bands own interpretation of the old Ministry track “Just One Fix” is another brilliant work of art. Heavy club tracks are mixed with melodic EBM songs to give you lots of diversity.

It’s not only with a screaming voice you’ll hear him as he appear with a more soft and melancholic stage in some tracks. For the track “The Pain Of Knowing” for example. This is the only track with a slower beat count and start very beautiful and build its way up with a great piano in the background.

Though I feel that 14 original tracks plus remixes is a little two large tracklist. As a result, there are a couple of tracks that more feel like they got here just to fill every single minute of the disc. I would more prefer to cut it down to around 10 or 11 tracks.

This is an album that grows with time. Atleast for me. For every listening you find new things and sounds to like. This is a very powerful album and way stronger then I expected. The female vocal collaboration with Betty of Code Name in the track “Your Fucking Drugs” is a really nice one.
