It’s time for the next installements of the popular Infacted-compilation series. Number 5 is fully packed with almost 80 minutes over 16 tracks and got a very impressive tracklist.

I said it recently in my review of the new Reaper single “Dirty Cash”, featuring Pete Crane on vocals and first out is the amazing track “Taste” from Shiv-R in a new remix from Reaper. Perfect match and a true stomper. With “Infacted 5″ you will get lots of great music from the bands impressive roster, both long-signed like XP8 and Soman aswell as new ones like ES23, the new project from Torben Schmidt Binary Park and Reaxion Guerrilla to name a few.

Soman will release its new album “Noistyle” in December and here you will get a taste of a new song in a recreation from X-RX. Earlier mentioned ES23 are also working on their debut album that will see the light of day next year, provide a very impressive track with its great structure and powerful energy, but even a great melody is present. Who would have guessed that Jan L. of X-Fusion/Noisuf-X and Johan Van Roy (Suicide Commando) would join together? With Kombat Unit both artists have got together and deliver a powerful fist right in your face. It will be interesting to see what the next releases from the duo will be.

Binary Park are the new electronic outfit from label manager Torben Schmidt together with Huw Jones on vocals and Alfred Gregl. The track “Worlds Collide” is great track with heavy EBM influences and soundwise I think it’s most resambled with the music from Swedish act Cryo.

Compared to the earlier releases in this series, this one seems a lot harder then previous ones and provides a darker tone with harsh EBM. The most poppy track, listening to the vocals, must be Ien Oblique’s “Slave Of Pleasure” in a nice Kamikaze remix.

“Infacted 5″ is an amazing compilation and if you are into the darker parts of the music with lots of distorted vocals and heavy beats, this compilation is definately something for you. A strong advice: Grab it!
