Zeller - Turbulences

5/10

Artist: Zeller
Title: Turbulences
Format: CD
Label: Tympanik Audio
Genre: Breakcore, Industrial
Release date: June 29, 2010

“Turbulences” is the second album from French-based Breakcore/Industrial project Zeller and the first on Tympanik Audio. The debut album “Audio Vandalism” was released in 2008 on German label Hymen Records.

The music is described as mixture between strong basslines with hard Industrial elements and complex arrangements together with interesting rhythms. You will also witness a lot of Noise elements that are forged into the Industrial sounds that offer a cool atmosphere and sometimes with Ambient soundscapes in the background to really give the music this chaotic structure.

A lot of the songs are very short and range from a minute to about two or three minutes in lenght. The only problem with this – as I see it – is that these songs more feels like an intro to or a short sound clip to something else and even gives you the feeling that the track isn’t finished.
